It kicks off with Old Bastard, giving voice to the frustration of a caregiver trapped in a suffocating job. Then comes a wild deconstruction of Macho Man by the Village People, twisting the celebration of masculinity. Gravedigger then follows the story of a greedy and ruthless gravedigger who finds his only life aspiration in his work. Side B opens with Moonflower Fields, evoking a dreamlike yet unsettling landscapea field of flowers hiding a psychotic world beneath its surface. The record closes with Hot Bald Gold, a broken blues celebrating sensuality even when you feel like a monster.
