Lost Train Blues: John & Alan Lomax and the Early Folk Music Collections at the Library of Congress brings together field recordings made by the Lomaxes along with other less well known folklorists making field recordings at the same time. This includes songs, ballads, banjo and fiddle music, blues, unaccompanied singing, Native American music and more. Liner notes essay by Lomax Archive Curator Nathan Salsburg.
