Description
Mattias Alkberg, musician, songwriter, and poet, of legendary The Bear Quartet, released his first album, Tunaskolan, with the band Mattias Alkberg BD in 2004. The album was recorded in the Music-A-Matic studio in Gothenburg and produced by Björn Olsson.
“When we did Tunaskolan, especially when we rehearsed it, I was so happy to have cracked that Lou Reed code, the way he played on Can’t Stand It Anymore and Foggy Notion. If there´s anything I feel I´ve done that has any kind of meaning it’s that chopping white comp.”
The record was praised by media and was chosen as the best record of 2004 by the magazine Sonic.
After 20 years, this classic album is finally released on vinyl.
