St. Jimi Sebastian Cricket Club from Stockholm has been called in the media a mixture of The Jam, Inspiral Carpets and Oasis. The band is run by Jimi Sebastian, raised in Sandviken but with an English father, which is reflected in both lyrics and music, where the social realist narrative often plays a prominent role. He has appeared in podcasts and TV where he talked about the band’s music, lyrics and the connection to football culture. The band is growing steadily and has long been celebrated in underground circles where they have a very good live reputation. They have previously released a full-length and three EPs and now it is finally time for a new full-length album on vinyl through Beluga Records.
